The Processing Head includes 96 concentric stainless steel aspiration/collection tubes with nylon tips that permit highly efficient collection of the entire contents of the sample and the follow-up washing solution. Samples can be harvested from a standard microtiter plate and 1 to 2 ml tubes in the 8 x 12 format. Long collection tips on the 24-well and 48-well processing heads allow sample aspiration from 12 x 75mm tubes. With the expert design of this system, the Inotech Harvester simultaneously harvests all tubes or wells of a microtiter plate in approximately one minute. The processing head is interchangeable with the 48-well and 24-well formats. Within just a few seconds, the well configuration can be converted.
