The VacuSafe Collection/Delivery Station completes the Inotech Cell Harvesting system, as well as complements the Inotech Vacuset System and the Inotech 8-Channel or 12-Channel Plate Washer. The VacuSafe enables the researcher to perform general wash protocols and to dispense sterile liquids or tissue culture media.
The VacuSafe is a compact, bench-top unit that does not require assembly and is simple to use. The VacuSafe interior unit contains a vacuum pump for aspiration and a pressure pump for dispensing of wash solutions. Both vacuum and positive pressure settings are adjustable to meet the specific needs of the user. The VacuSafe has an Internal Regulator that automatically switches the pumps On and Off. This Internal Regulator maintains the desired settings of each pump and minimizes the noise in the lab because the pumps automatically turn off when the pre-set pressures are achieved. The Vacusafe exterior component is constructed of steel for the protection of the pumps and to provide reliable and durable service.
Complimentary to the VacuSafe are a 3-Liter, plastic safety-coated glass VacuBottle for the collection of waste and a 4-Liter HDPP pressure bottle for dispensing solutions. 1L, 2L, and 5L pressure bottles are also available. All bottles are completely autoclavable. The bottles have drip-proof, easy-off or quick-disconnect fittings or couplers to ensure safe handling of waste.
